Are we really welcome, or just tolerated?
We are a pet-friendly hotel: dogs and cats are both welcome. The pictures on this page are not stock photos; they were taken in our own rooms, around the hotel and at our reception, with dogs. Rozi, our goldendoodle house dog, known in our videos as “our strictest receptionist”, has already tested it: you can book with a dog.
How much does it cost, and when do I find out?
The fee for your pet is €15 per night. You don't find out on arrival: while booking, you add the “Pet” item to your room and see its price there, together with the room rate, before you book.
Where do we go for walks, morning and evening?
The nearest dog park is on Bécsi körút, a 6-minute walk; there are more at Kálvária tér (13 minutes) and Lechner tér (18 minutes). For a longer walk, Széchenyi tér is 11 minutes and the Stefánia promenade on the Tisza 17 minutes on foot. Dogs must be kept on a lead in built-up areas.
What do I need to pack for my pet?
A bowl, a bed and a blanket wait in the room. Just bring the food your pet is used to.
Can my pet stay alone in the room while I have breakfast?
Yes. You get a door hanger to show that there is a pet in the room. Breakfast is served every day from 7 to 10 am.
We're coming by car. How do we get up to the room?
A lift takes you from the hotel's underground garage up to the rooms. The garage is paid, and as it has 18 spaces, you need to reserve a space in advance.
And if something comes up?
You can cancel your booking free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival.

How do I bring my pet?
Add the “Pet” item to your room while booking. If you have already booked without it, we add it to your booking by email (info@sciencehotel.hu) or by phone (+36 30 195 4528).

Check-in from 2 pm, check-out until 10 am. You can ask for early check-in, and for late check-out at an extra charge.

Every day from 7 to 10 am, at weekends too.
Where do we park?
The hotel has an underground garage with 18 spaces, at an extra charge. Spaces must be reserved in advance. A lift takes you from the garage up to the rooms.
